To maintain your trimmer and ensure long-lasting sharpness, start by using the provided brush to remove hairs from the cutting head and the trimmer cavity. It's important to keep the head clean as this contributes to the sharpness and longevity of the trimmer. Since the trimmer is IPX7 waterproof, you may also rinse it under water for a thorough cleaning. After cleaning, apply several drops of the included oil to the cutting head teeth. This regular maintenance will help keep your trimmer in optimal condition.

To adjust the cutting length of your trimmer, start by selecting the appropriate guide. Next, slide the trimmer into the beard guide and apply even pressure until you hear a "click" sound, indicating that it is securely in place. The cutting head should sit flush with the cutout in the guide's teeth once it is fully secured. To remove the beard guide, hold the trimmer with one hand and use your other hand to push upward on the guide from behind the trimmer.

For the Zero Gap Adjustment Tool, ensure the trimmer is turned off and unplugged from the electrical outlet before starting. Begin by using the included Allen key to gently loosen the small screws located on the underside of the trimmer. Place the zero gap tool over the blade, pushing it tight against the back of the cutting head. Adjust the tool so that it is even with the blade by applying even pressure with your fingers. Next, slightly loosen the small screws on the side of the trimmer using the Allen key again. It's important to make sure that the moving cutting blade does not extend beyond the stationary blade as this could cause injury. After adjusting the blade to achieve a zero gap, hold the zero gap tool in place while you gently tighten the screws on each underside. If the adjustment does not meet your satisfaction, you may repeat the process starting from the first step.

To use the travel lock feature on your trimmer, activate it by pressing and holding the power button for five seconds until the orange lock symbol blinks. When the travel lock is engaged, attempting to turn on the trimmer will cause the travel lock symbol to flash, indicating that the device is securely locked. To deactivate the travel lock and use your trimmer, simply press and hold the power button for another five seconds until the trimmer powers on, indicating that the lock has been successfully disabled.
