To clean the trimmer cutting head, start by using your thumb to apply pressure to the teeth of the cutting head, pushing them away from the trimmer body. With your other hand, support the blade to prevent it from falling. Use the provided brush to remove any hairs from both the cutting head and the trimmer cavity. While the cutting head can be rinsed with water, make sure to keep the trimmer body dry. Next, apply the included oil to the teeth of the cutting head. Slide the spring-loaded cutting blade to one side and oil the area where it makes contact with the metal plate. Repeat this process by sliding the blade to the other side and oiling the corresponding contact area. When reattaching the cutting head, make sure the length indicator is set to the 2mm position. Insert the guiding clip into the receiving cavity on the trimmer body, then align the cutting head and press down firmly on its center. You should hear a "click" sound when the unit is properly secured

Once fully secured, the cutting head should be flush with the cutout in the guide's teeth. To remove the beard guide, hold the trimmer firmly and place your thumbs on both sets of three lines on the guide. Push the guide forward evenly to detach it. To adjust the beard length, hold the top of the trimmer body and twist the bottom to your desired position. The final beard length will be the sum of the length indicator and the length of the guide used, if applicable. Press the power button once to turn it on and press it again to turn it off. Hold the power button for 5 seconds to enable or disable the travel lock.
