RID Super Max Advanced Shampoo kills super lice & eggs, cleans hair PLUS provides immediate lice defense in 1 easy-to-use shampoo. RID Super Max Advanced Shampoo is specifically designed to kill Super Lice, which have developed resistance to many traditional lice treatments. It is the only lice treatment shampoo that is enhanced with lice defense ingredients to help keep any lice in the surroundings from re-entering treated hair. Lice can remain in the home environment and survive 1 to 2 days without a human host. The lice defense ingredients help keep those lice away from treated hair for the duration that they can survive. RID Super Max Advanced Lice Shampoo is for use on head lice and safe for use on children 1 year and older. See the package insert for full instructions and read entire label before each use. Directions: important-read enclosed instructions for use. Step 1: Apply the shampoo to dry hair, completely saturating hair, and scalp. Use a towel to cover eyes and exposed skin areas. Massage from the roots to the tips, paying particular attention to the area behind the ears and the hairline behind the back of the head. Leave the shampoo in the hair for 10 minutes (no longer). In the case of long hair, pin the hair up away from skin. Step 2: Wash by applying some (lukewarm) water to the treated hair after 10 minutes, as it is important for the hair to be wet when shampooing. Work up a lather (foam) and rinse thoroughly using plenty of (lukewarm) water. Rinse until all shampoo has been removed. No additional washing step with a regular shampoo is required. Step 3: Comb to remove lice and eggs. Part the hair into sections and comb one section at a time. Place the teeth of the comb as close as possible to the scalp and comb away from the scalp to the end of the hair. Use clips to pin back each section of combed hair. Clean the comb during use by wiping onto a tissue. Discard the tissue into a sealable plastic bag. Discard the sealed plastic bag. Check hair after 7 to 10 days.
