How is Fresh Sushi Made?
The original sushi was created in Asia, and has been a classic Japanese food since the 8th century. It is made by taking small chunks of raw fish and other ingredients and wrapping them in seaweed and rice. The fish used in sushi needs to be sushi-grade, which means it meets high standards for fat content, freshness and taste. The fish is frozen to a temperature below -60° F to ensure it's sashimi grade.
