Soak fingers in warm water to soften nails and cuticles. Gently loosen and push back cuticles with cuticle pusher. Position either cuticle scissors or nipper along cuticle line to trim dead cuticle skin, being careful not to cut live skin. Cut fingernails at an angle with the nail clipper. Trim one side and then the other to avoid putting pressure on center of nail. When nails are dry, shape the free edge by filing from corner to center of nail in one direction only. Use either tip of nail file or opposite end of cuticle pusher for under-nail cleaning. Tweezer included to remove unwanted stray hairs.
