Care and maint

CLEANING / We recommend cleaning your disc twice per day (or every 12 hours) during use. You may also want to do a deep clean periodically. To do that, rinse the disc and boil for 10 minutes in an open pot with plenty of water. Do not leave the boiling pot unattended. Use tongs to ensure the disc does not touch the bottom of the pot. If you burn your disc while boiling, your disc should be replaced. STORAGE / Always store Flex Reusable Disc in a cool, dry place, in its included pouch. Never store your disc in an airtight container.

STEP 1: REFRESH YOUR DISC If it’s your first time using your Flex Reusable Disc, give it a quick wash with warm water and a mild soap or cleanser. To completely sanitize your disc in between periods, boil it for 10 minutes on the stove (do not allow your disc to come in contact with the sides or bottom of the pot). STEP 2: GET READY TO INSERT Take a breath and relax! Get into a comfortable position—you can try sitting on the toilet, squatting with your legs open, or standing with one leg up. STEP 3: INSERT THE DISC Insert the pinched disc (notch side first) down and back towards your tailbone as far back as it will comfortably go. Then, tuck the front rim of the disc up behind your pubic bone. STEP 4: 12-HOUR WEAR Experience freedom. Do everything you love to do when you're not on your period—swim, sleep, squat, study, or summit. Heavy flow? No problem. Flex Discs can self-empty when you pee. This means you'll never have to walk around with a full disc all day. After you pee or poo, use a clean finger to simply tuck the disc back into place and you're set for the remainder of your 12-hour wear. *Please follow the full Instructions for Use within the box prior to use. **To clean your Flex Reusable Disc, simply empty your disc, rinse with cool water (helps prevent staining), apply a mild soap or cleanser, lather, and rinse again with warm water.
