Golden Yellow Cake – 1 Layer Cake or 12 cupcakes 1 pkg. JIFFY yellow cake mix, 1 egg, ½ cup cold water. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease, flour and line bottom of pan with parchment or wax paper. Beat ingredients on low for 30 seconds and then an additional 3-4 minutes on medium, or hand mix for a total of 5-6 minutes. Bake: 8” round pan 25-30 minutes, 9” round pan 20-25 minutes, 8” square pan 20-25 minutes. Cupcakes: fill cups ½ full, bake 15-20 minutes. Cake is done when a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan.
