RECOMMENDED BREWING METHOD:

The “Golden Rule” is a 18:1 ratio. That is one part coffee for every 18 parts water. That works out 10 g of coffee per 180 ml of water. In America, that is 2 TBS of coffee for every 6 oz of water. Too little coffee will make a bitter cup and too much will make your coffee too strong or sour tasting for most people. Since Coffee is 98% water, its quality is essential to making good coffee. Filtered water is best since it is relatively free of particles and contaminants that can affect the taste of the coffee. Water should be 200 to 204 degrees to properly extract the flavor from the ground coffee, that’s just short of boiling.

STORAGE TIPS:How should I store my Black Rifle Coffee? How long will it last?

The thing to keep in mind when storing coffee is humidity. Keep your coffee away from humidity until it is brewed. Storing it in a dark, airtight container at room temperature will keep your ground coffee good for 60-90 days, whole bean good for 6-9 Months when stored properly.
